Through an agency partnership, I worked on a custom Shopify search and collection experience for LoveShackFancy. The assignment was to help build a product discovery layer that could support AI-powered search behavior while still feeling native to the brand’s highly visual storefront.

The project used a custom search intermediary layer, similar in purpose to Algolia or Searchspring, in collaboration with Salesforce’s Cimulate AI. I built the storefront implementation as a Shopify theme block, so the search experience could be placed and managed inside Shopify rather than feeling like a detached third-party widget.

The block handled product result rendering, filters, facets, price controls, pagination, and theme integration. The goal was to make advanced AI-powered search feel like part of the LoveShackFancy shopping experience, while preserving the brand’s visual merchandising style and frontend polish.
